Good location for Warrington, excellent leisure facilities and great food.
We liked the breakfast. We also liked the pool and changing facilities. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The topiary bar was unusual and extremely pleasant, like a large open aired conservatory with a view of the countryside. We are hoping to return to this hotel for a weekend break which will give us the opportunity to meet family and friends.
Liked best: Facilities like the Pool, jacuzzi. Bathroom mirror - perfectly lit.TV in the room was very good, modern, and had good channel selection to choose from. You can't please everyone with a mattress, but firm was brilliant for us, very comfortable. The late bar staff were the best, so very welcoming and willing to please. Breakfast buffet was well cooked and plentiful. Hotel was clean and well kept throughout. All the staff smiled - which makes a huge difference.
Corridor door next to our room clatterd closed with every passing guest, it was on the corridor route to the spa, so was well used. We were cold in our room at night and didn't have any control of the heating. The bathroom needs a better method of extraction that is controllable by guests/or connected to the light switch so it powers when in use, what is there is inadequate.
Comfortable , very helpful staff, good size pool , steam room and sauna, good bar area as well
Restraunt a little dissappointing , will try bar menu next time
Staff were amenable to changing my room 3 times. First two rooms offered very dark and then very noisy next to air con unit. room 3 lovely. Breakfast ok but would prefer free range egg!
I found the hotel spacious, comfortable, clean and the staff professional and friendly. Food was to a good standard. Plenty of car parking spaces close to the hotel, which makes life easier.
Excellent vluae for money on the rooms rate and very friendly staff. Stayed 1 night after our wedding and was great value and lovely room.
All the staff were courteous and friendly, and nothing was too much trouble. We have stayed here on 5 occasions, and each time it's been great.
The staff were very obliging and enthusiastic. They were all very presentable and a credit. This includes the restaurant team at breakfast each day.The cleaners were doing a good clean in the public rooms. Our experience as a retired couple visiting the Manchester area for the first time was a very relaxing and enjoyable experience. The rooms were well furnished and a pleasure to come back to daily. Our thanks for everything we will use Qhotels again.
Reception staff were friendly, our twin room was lovely and clean. We did not use the spa as were unfortunately later arriving than we attended. The buffet breakfast was very good, something for everyone from cereal, fruit through to full english and croissants and pastries. Will be looking for another deal at this hotel
The prices of drinks in the bar were a bit high. Would probably try the pub up the road on next visit
Efficient friendly staff. Nice room and clean but looking a bit dated, old curtain rails and signs of water ingress on outer ceiling. Good breakfast included over the weekend. Bargain break good value but feel normal prices would be less value.
Expensive eating. Food presented nicely but portions small and the liver I had was mushy. As we had a bargain weekend break price was good but feel normal prices on the high side.
We like the fact that there is a gym, pool and leisure facilities. We have stayed at the Park Royal 3 times and have attended Haydock Races which is near by.
Overall we were pleased with our visit the room was large but could do with updating, the breakfast and evening meal was great
View out of our window was air conditioning unit and did not like they automatically made you pay a tip
The staff are great and for a relatively cheap hotel the roooms are luxurious, modern, clean, spacious and well equipped. Luxury but very affordable. I stay in hotels at least once a month and this one is by far my favourite in Warrington. It is also great for access to Manchester and Liverpool.
Price and comfort. We were pleasantly surprised at the standard of our room, its a pity more hotels are not at the same standard.
Bar prices were really over the top.
